Hockey Drill – Continuous Passing with Pivots and a Single Shot

On the whistle, opposite diagonal players go. Player 1 (blue), takes 2 steps forward into the middle, then pivots immediately to backward then exchanges a pass with the player behind them (touch pass 1 and 2), while skating backward.

Player then re-pivots to forward and heads through the neutral zone to do another pass exchange (touch pass 3 and 4) with the player at the front of the line.

Player 1 (blue) then swings low in a tight turn towards the boards and skates up the ice.

Player 2 (red) takes 2 steps and passes (pass 5) the puck back to player 1 (blue), who goes in and shoots!

Player 2 (red) immediately pivots to backward and receives a pass exchange to keep the drill going the other way – keeping it continuous!
